Why to Workout

Why to Workout??

A good question, why to workout. A possible question that many people ask. "Hey Why you workout instead enjoy, have fun why to waste time lifting metals". I don't know if any of you got this question, but yeah I have been through this question many a times.

An Answer to it Umm... You will hear all different reasons in this world on why to work out. Some of the reason which I have heard and could recollect are : "I want to look like ....." (Now they have their own choice of Celebrities). I want to gain weight, others might say I want to Loose weight. Some says "All I want is a Six Pack Abs" (They are not bothered how slim their legs or Arms are :D). Some says "My Friend is going Gym so do I". Girls.. they want their Legs to be the Best in World. Some Guys (Yeah Romeos) they say "I want some Girl Friends and working out will help Me".

So as told before every one have there own reasons to workout. Actually Even i had my own weird reason to start working out. I am fond of clothes, so I wear all different tyhpes and styles that is available, But what I noticed was some of them were pretty good and was perfect for me, but some were bit not so FIT to me. I realized that it was my body structure, the body size, which was making it so not perfect. Hence I thought lets start working out which might help me to get into a good shape.

So again the question is Why To Workout ?

Main reasons that I think why we should workout, and rest all are connected to these twos.
  • Health : Correct, so the main reason why someone should workout is health. The life style in this age, is very bad, the main reason to this is technology, which is making people very lazy. Then the Food, which is tasty but is real bad for health. Working out regularly will make your body function in a good manner. It helps burning out all the bad fats, that could result many diseases. The movements of your bones, would keep it healthy. Muscle which is the major part of body, gets a good treatment and increases its life. Also Organs Like Heart, Lungs, Liver..etc would also get a good exercise and increases its life.
  • Personality : Working out improves your confidence, your body posture which gives you a good personality and stands out among others.
But yeah the other day I visited a Medical Site and found a big list.
  • Reduce the risk of premature death
  • Reduce the risk of developing and/or dying from heart disease
  • Reduce high blood pressure or the risk of developing high blood pressure
  • Reduce high cholesterol or the risk of developing high cholesterol
  • Reduce the risk of developing colon cancer and breast cancer
  • Reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes
  • Reduce or maintain body weight or body fat
  • Build and maintain healthy muscles, bones, and joints
  • Reduce depression and anxiety
  • Improve psychological well-being
  • Enhanced work, recreation, and sport performance
  • Increased blood supply to muscles and ability to use oxygen
  • Lower resting systolic and diastolic blood pressure in people with high blood pressure
  • Increased HDL cholesterol (the good cholesterol)
  • Decreased blood triglycerides
  • Improved glucose tolerance and reduced insulin resistance
  • Increased muscular strength
  • Increased strength of tendons and ligaments
  • Potentially improves flexibility (range of motion of joints)
  • Improved strength, balance, and functional ability in older adults.
So that was too much right.. but yeah, as mentioned these are the actual reasons of why we should workout, but for me I just Love Working Out.. :)
